Bill Clinton Talking

The picture is crappy but you can hear a few words from him. He was talking about why he was so late getting there. He was late getting from Muncie to Columbus and was on the phone with Hillary. Kinda cool to hear his voice.

Bill & Hillary Clinton

At first I must say going and listening to Bill Clinton talking wasn't something I really thought I would like, so I thought no I won't go but after getting invited I thought its not everyday you get to see a President of the United States in person. So, I was picked up and chauffered to the long lines surrounding Assembly Hall, a gentleman and I got out and stood in line while dad went to park the truck. Now I was beginning to think he starts talking at 2, we are in this huge line he will be done talking by the time we get in there.

After dad finding us in line, and us finally getting into the building and in a seat at 2:15, I begin to really notice how high up we were in Assembly Hall. 1.) never being in there was cool, 2.) being that high I could only think about man if I fall down the steps on the way out of here I will defintely be hurting by the time I get to the gym floor. LOL

SO 3:00 rolls around only to find us waiting some more. They did say he was on his way, you should have seen all the people who got up to leave, then at 4:00 he is almost here, hoohoo.
Again more people get up to leave. Finally her arrives at 4:30. Now a little disappointed that he wasn't on time and is 2 1/2 hours late, I begin to think 1) my butt is numb 2) I am still way up here and 3) would this speech really be worth it?

At 5:30 the speech was over, I was very impressed with his speech and him explaining things in terms I can understand, and for finally being able to say yes I got to see the Former President in person at Assembly Hall April 2, 2008. I was one of estimated 7,000. The pictures are hard to see him really but i do have pictures, I remember the speech, and I am glad I got asked to go.

Would I go see Barack Obama? no. Would I see Bill Clinton again? probably so.

Our Baby's Almost 3

For the time continues to move faster even though I have forever begged for it to slow so I can have AJ small forever.

In 4 days our baby will no longer be 2 but the energetic 3 year old. Lately I have revisited the memories of finding out I was pregnant, to having so much trouble carrying him, to the labor, to bringing him home the first time, the first smile, walk, talk. It makes me sad in a way to know he is no longer the baby I have always wanted, but has become the little boy I can’t believe I have.

Desperate to keep him small I do little things like the holding him and rocking him only for him to tell me stop mom, get my blanket and I will lay on the couch.

To the yelling of mom help me to him now saying I can do it go away.

He is forever my baby no matter his age. He has decided on a big construction party. Dang does time fly. So a busy weekend is planned with his party Saturday, to the Easter Bunny coming Sunday and his Birthday Monday.

But with a busy weekend planned, I do have some news that has saddened me.

In May I will have to be going to Las Vegas for 4 days, with 4 other people from my office. Although I am excited to see the strip, I am have a few things I am upset about. 1 I have never spent more than 1 night away from AJ or Brad for that matter. The 1 night was after gall bladder surgery. 2- I swore I would never fly on a plane again in my life after our senior trip to washington dc.

I am terrified to get on a plane, and its scaring the holy crap out of me. If I don’t go on this trip I can lose my job, 10 years there and I might lose it over getting on a plane. I think I might need to go to the dr and get some sort of pills to help me.

Any advice on the being away from AJ?

New Chapter

A lot has been happening in our lives lately, and hopefully after Brad and I being together for 5 years we can close a chapter in our lives and Brad, A.J., and I can take each others hand and jump into a new chapter of our book.

The biggest task is believe AJ will be 3 in a few weeks. Its amazing all the things he can do, and can remember. I was talking to my mom and grandpa yesterday and I bought him a phone that has pictures on it and you push the picture of the person you want to call. Well there is a picture of Micah on there when she was younger, and so for that I programmed my cousin Brock's phone number in. Well I told my grandpa Micah's picture now has Brocks number back on it, and AJ said and Jennifer. He has ony met Jennifer in person once.

The funny thing is she made such an impression on him, he will tell you she tickled him and played with him at moms. Too funny. So his memory is great. I only wish I had that great of one.
Secondly me dealing with turning the big 3-0- this year. Oh gosh it is killing me. I thought turning 25 was horrible cause I was half to 50, well now I am even closer. Depression is setting in on this one.

I can't stop it but I am really hating it. I told Brad I want to be left alone, no phone calls, no mail, no nothing. I don't want anyone to make any deal over this. I have a feeling mom will be the worst.

Well I have to go but I will post AJ's b-day pictures after his party..
LOVE TO YOU ALL.

Update & Pictures

AJ cutting wood for the garage
Its tax time for Liberty Tax Service. They were passing these out on the highway and Brad grabbed one. AJ is a great advertiser, he wore it all through supper at McDonals
Today at lunch at Taco Bell, it was his suprise in his meal.
Before he got the glasses at Taco Bell
AJ's new found love, PLAY DOUGH. He was making something with that there knife.

As the new year has started, I have already failed at one of my resolutions which was to try to update frequently. But also wondering if anyone even reads these things. Brad has been laid off from work since November and as the 3 month anniversary (if you call it that) nears I find myself totally in a whirl wind with everything from bills, cleaning the house, to laundry and most defiently doing dishes.

AJ has been with him almost daily since Brad is home which has relieved mom of her babysitting duties, but has became good in ways and most horrible in others. Brad has been working with potty training. My dear husband has almost completed the task in 2 months. We still have a few accidents and we are trying to get him to tell us he has to go to the bathroom.

A wonderful friend of mine told me to help her son she used fruit loops, so we have been target practicing with the fruit loops. Which makes number 1 easier for him to do, but #2 is another story. I am so relieved christmas is over this year. Granted it will be coming around again in no time, and I find myself trying to buy a few things here and there to help money go more smoothly this year. A plus with Brad not working is he is tinkering in the garage so I can say a lot of the presents will be hand made and painted by us this year. So him starting early is going to be awesome.

I took AJ over to a friends house on Sunday to get his pictures taken. Just from looking at them on the digital camera and computer they are awesome. I am in a hurry to get them back. A birthday party is in the works for my baby. Its so hard to believe he will be 3 in less than 60 days. I find myself looking back to pictures I have taken before and comparing them to now and amazed at his facial changes, and build. AJ is very independent Brad says he has my stubborness, but if I can't do it myself forget it. LOL

AJ also has my hating the word no, don't tell me no cause I will end up with bigger and better than what I wanted before. Maybe that comes honeslty from my mom. Although, I love her to death I wonder if when I get big I will do and say things she did/does.
So I can honestly say time flys.
LOVE TO YOU ALL.
